  • New automotive, commercial battery and lifestyle ranges launched
  • New specialist products portfolio to follow shortly
  • Acquisition unlocks worldwide production source
  • Provides effective UK distribution opportunities
  • Extensive marketing programme launched to provide added value service to customers

September 2016 – Dynamic Battery Services Ltd is launching its new range of automotive, commercial and lifestyle batteries into the UK aftermarket. The new best quality product portfolio comes with new branding, and a full support package for chosen distribution partners. This follows the acquisition by Metair Investments Limited (“Metair”), a leading international manufacturer and distributor of automotive products to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).

Peter Snellink, Dynamic Battery Services Managing Director commented: “The acquisition by ‘’Metair’’ gives us the opportunity to strengthen our position in the UK aftermarket and fits the Group’s strategy to develop into the Original Equipment business, where barriers to entry are high, and assists us to expand Dynamics Batteries aftermarket presence.”

The acquisition is aligned with Metair’s globalisation strategy as it will facilitate the supply of Metair batteries into the UK market and will support distribution services to major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) customers as well as providing aftermarket opportunities. Dynamic will also provide Metair with a base to take advantage of distribution opportunities across the region.

“We are confident that Dynamic’s current volumes can be increased, through Group manufacturing resources as well as closer relationships with Original Equipment customers, aftermarket growth and the introduction of additional products.” added Peter Snellink.

Dynamic Battery SERVICES Ltd has been active in the UK market since 1993 supplying major distributors throughout the UK. They specialise in direct sales and own a number of distribution centres spread across the country. This is being actively grown to seven sites over the next 12 months to cover all key distribution areas of the UK.

“Metair’s strategic acquisition supports our strategy and vision to secure and grow their aftermarket product range in existing and new markets and to focus on the transfer of battery technologies to facilitate AGM and EFB growth within the OEM and OES markets through prestigious car manufacturers worldwide.’’

Dynamic is also running a new marketing campaign to press the message home with existing and new customers as well as sending a message of value add. This includes website development and building the brand to the forefront of industry thinking. This will be achieved through advertising in targeted professional titles and industry specific exhibitions to boost brand awareness.
